For the first part of their ongoing partnership, rapper Wale and retailer VILLA have teamed up with ASICS to produce a "Bottle Rocket" edition of the GEL-Lyte III. Teased here, the collaborative take on the fan-favorite runner looks to employ a predominately black aesthetic while incorporating red, white and blue accents throughout -- white stars even appear beneath the mesh overlay on the heel.
